If you want to learn about 20mph including how it is being introduced in other Counties and in Wales and Scotland and the benefits it is bringing please register and zoom into one of two sessions and hear from Adrian Berendt of 20s Plenty. The sessions are:

Hear about how 20mph has brought:
- Reduced casualties in Edinburgh and elsewhere
- Increases in active travel (cycling and walking) because people feel safer on these roads
- More social cohesion (neighbours talk to each other!)
- Reduced greenhouse gases and air and noise pollution
Hear how 20mph can be introduced cheaply (£3 to £5 per person) compared to other road safety measures and how it is generally popular
Hear what the Department for Transport and East Sussex County Council says about 20mph
Hear what is happening in East Sussex with regard to road casualties and consider whether the County Council’s strategy is working.
NB. Please note these Zoom seminars are not linked to ESALC – we are sharing information in the event that the content is of interest to any of our town and parish Councils.
