ESALC delivers various training programmes for town and parish Councils, carried out by an experienced and qualified team.

The training programme is designed to reflect the needs and priorities of our member Councils and we are regularly adding new training dates to ensure our members are kept up to date.

At present, most training is taking place on Zoom, however, we hope to resume face to face training as soon as we are able and will then offer both a remote and face to face programme, as well as networking days and conferences.

We provide training in a variety of ways to suit situations; some will be provided directly by ESALC and others will be provided by external agencies.

Any of our training programmes are available for individual councils to book either in the tailor made format or completely bespoke to your requirements. Please contact us if you have a request or would like further details. Prices are quoted on an individual basis.

If your Council would like training on a subject which is not listed above then please get in contact to discuss further. For example, we have recently carried out bespoke training on Time Management, Code of Conduct and Elections/Purdah.
